If you are planning on travelling distance to attractions, we would recommend that you contact the venues directly in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you, or any of your party have a new persistant cough, or develop a fever of 38C, we would instead advise you to use the NHS's dedicated website for professional advice.

Wellington Country Park

Less than 1 hour from London, the Wellington Country Park between Reading and Basingstoke is a perfect choice for the whole family, and dogs are welcome. Its 350 acres of wooded parkland form part of the estate of the Duke of Wellington, and combined visits to both the Park and Stratfield Saye House, built for the first Duke of Wellington can be arranged. The Park has activities for all children. Teenagers enjoy the well equipped adventure playground, crazy golf and nature trails. Younger children love the miniature railway and children's animal farm where friendly animals can be handled. A 35 acre lake is home to a variety of water birds including 2 handsome black swans. Visitors can fish for perch, roach, tench and bream. Explore the lake by boat or pedalo, available for hire or visitors can bring their own boats. Experience peace and tranquility with woodland walks, a variety of wildlife and a deer park. The Park has picnic / barbecue sites, caravan and camping facilities, a cafeteria, a coffee shop serving Wellington ice cream and a gift shop.
